PRP is used for hair restoration or hair thickening. It requires 1 treatment a month as a series of 6 for best results. Results can take several months to take effect. Requires blood draw.
Your own blood is drawn during your treatment, which is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the other parts of the blood. The resulting plasma contains a highly concentrated group of platelets that can help hair growth and tissue rejuvenation. PRP is used during hair restoration to stimulate inactive follicles or newly implanted follicles to cause an active growth phase.
PRP treatments are non-invasive, unlike hair transplants. We often recommend six treatments, with most clients seeing results after 3-4 procedures. To find out if you are a candidate, we recommend booking a free consultation.

FAQs
How does a PRP treatment work to promote hair growth?

A blood draw is required. The patient’s blood is spun in a centrifuge which separates the blood components. PRP is the yellow portion of the blood which contains growth factors that stimulate and improve the function of the hair follicle.
How many PRP hair treatment sessions do I need?

You’ll almost always need several therapy sessions to get the most from your treatment. We can determine the precise number of treatments needed during your free consultation.
What should I do before my treatment?
You should shower and wash your hair on the day of treatment, if possible. It is not recommended to wash your hair for 24 hours after treatment.
Is there any downtime after a PRP hair treatment?

PRP for hair loss is a non-surgical, no-downtime therapy with no side effects other than discomfort and mild inflammation.
