Joanne is a masters-level Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with over 10 years of experience in the medical field. She has served as an anesthesia provider and now specializes in medical aesthetics.

 

Joanne’s interest in science first led her to a career as a lab technician specializing in histocompatibility for tissue typing. Ultimately, her desire to develop more direct relationships with her patients as well as her interest in human anatomy and physiology, prompted a career change into nursing. Following completion of an accelerated BSN program at Thomas Jefferson University, she became an Intensive Care Unit nurse and went on to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from York College of Pennsylvania. As a CRNA, she values building trusting relationships with patients, educating them, and staying up-to-date on best practices.
